Koftas (Meatballs) Ingredients
Ground Beef Onion Egg Bread Crumbs Cilantro Mint Ginger Garlic Garam Masala Cumin Coriander Turmeric Paprika Red Pepper Flakes Salt
Oil Onion Ginger Garlic Garam Masala Chili Powder Turmeric Cumin Coriander Chili Pepper Tomato Paste Tomatoes Yogurt Fenugreek Leaves Heavy Cream Cilantro
Combine all the kofta (meatballs) ingredients, knead well into a smooth mixture and set it aside.
Shape smooth and cylindrical (or round) koftas and broil or grill on both sides.
Sauté onions until golden brown. Add ginger garlic paste and stir. Then add the spices, salt and stir well.
Add chili peppers, tomato paste, crushed tomatoes. Stir in yogurt and fenugreek leaves. Add water and let it simmer.
Add koftas, adjust seasoning and consistency. Raise the heat until it starts bubbling and then simmer.
Garnish with cilantro and a drizzle of cream. Serve with naan or rice.
