The inspiration for The Delicious Crescent recipes comes from a multicultural experience and heritage. The greatest inspirations and teachers in the kitchen have been my parents.

My Indian roots laid a solid foundation for my diverse cooking experiences at a very early age. Then my marriage into a family of German and Persian heritage, ensured that culinary adventures would remain a lifelong obsession. My decades long exposure to a rainbow of cultures in the US further helped me increase my repertoire of recipes.
